Bush supporters are destroying the Republican Party.....
Isn't that just rewards. While all of the Republicans held their noses (some of them at least) and blindly supported Bush, they have undermined their Party. What will the future hold for the remaining Republicans as crazy Bush continues to destroy them? Will another Party have to arise because the name of "Republican" is so tarnished and destroyed? This I think is THE just rewards for all of those blindly supporting Bushco even though he didn't represent the Republican Party Ideas.

This certainly is the Titanic, except the Republican Party is the Titanic and Bush is the Iceberg. The Dems may be the other ship that saw the fireworks but thought that they were just celebratory.

Next time I see my friend that admits voting for Bush 2x and now is remorseful, I will say that her and others like her are responsible for destroying the Republican Party. What I would like to continue with but won't ... That because of their ignorance "their" Party may not survive Bush. Just rewards when you think of it.

4. The traditional Republican's will all be turning Libertarian.
It's a bit like the old joke about going to a movie to get rid of the crabs. You buy some extra salty popcorn and a large soda and when they get up to go the john you change seats on them.

7. It's not just the Republican party
Their unquestioned support of Bush up to now means they are also indirectly responsible for the destruction of our civil liberties and possibly the very destruction of our democracy, plus countless deaths of our armed forces and Iraqis, plus fomenting hatred against the US and causing terrorism to increase and endangering all of our lives, plus hastening global warming, and I could go on and on. The destruction of the Republican Party is almost the least of it.

8. Ta-Ta neo-cons...(neo-fascists)
Is it possible that Gore's "internets" had a part to play in this drama? Information and facts, "truthiness" may have had a hand here. In an earlier time when such communications were limited at best the repugs may have been able to gain a better foothold. With communication, fact checking and info exchange as rampant as it is now, I think we all may have contributed to these harsh times for those on the other side of the aisle. I urge the real Republicans to turn up the heat a bit: honestly and publicly investigate your neocon brothers' anti-American deeds. Let us see what the Republican Party is made of... Impeach YOUR president, only then will I be convinced that you stand for "morality". (Otherwise I will continue to believe that you lie whenever your lips move!).

10. Its the only silver lining over the last 6 years.
Well up until the Nov elections last year. Watching the GOP get destroyed from the inside has been a real treat! I hope Bush ends up completely destroying the GOP.

11. I like your metaphor. I don't feel any sympathy for them.
Even the so-called "traditional" Conservatives who are repenting and condemning Bush. They are the one's who got us into this mess by propping up the little Dictator in the first place.
