Poll question: If Bush still tries to do the Iran War, how will he start it?
I find it hard to believe, but there is still evidence that Bush is working toward a war with Iran. That recent ham-handed raid on Iranian consulate offices in Iraq was just one of the more overt signs, but sending a second carrier task force is more tangible evidece.

How is he going to play this out?

2. I don't get #2 -- why fake an attack in Iraq, when we already have so many real ones?
Really, that'd be the worst area to seek justification for extraordinary action anyway, since we're used to it there.

5. Right, they've already tried to blame those on Iran. Didn't exactly get the public fired up for more

4. It might be something like 'Gulf of Tonkin'
"The Straight of Hormuz Incident."

8. "If" doesn't apply it's when...
Got to keep the war for profits continuing. No better way than to bomb Iran.

I read there were three sorties "downtown" in the last year (one on January 7) with F-15s that the USAF had to turn back.

11. Israel had F-16's. The U.S. used the F-15's to turn them back.
Like the profile says. My hobby is nitpicking. :)
