Edited on Thu Aug-09-07 11:31 AM by rodeodance

this morning. I had made comments in the Presser threads how disinterested
and bored he sounded (tired). but something was bothering me about it and
then the light bulb came on. I admit, I looked away at times, but over the man
was really not with it today. The only time he got animated at pissed off was
when a reporter asked him about his Accountability (then he want into a rant
defending Gonzo and Libby).

Thoughts--for those who watched?

1. it was easy for his mama to tell when he was lying

never have I seen the untruth show through more than on this person. his whole persona
shows it, his coloring, his facial expressions he can't hide it. even the little twitch!
boy I bet he was in hot water all the time growing up.

3. I thought the pResident looked strangely relaxed....
tired, bored...but also not particularly worried about anything. And that worries me. Usually he has that nervous edginess, smirks and tics. Maybe now he feels he'll escape accountability and salvage his 'legacy.' If he comes back from vacation this relaxed
...does it mean the heat is off, the fix is in, the goods are delivered? :scared:

Have all tyrannical leaders been so scrutinized by their oppressed like this? It's like when bad daddy comes home and everybody has to assess the emotional temperature.
