This is historical, and a great kick in his ribs. I enjoyed her "coronation" and called my friends to watch. But this is special. The Nation will know Nancy Pelosi IS the Speaker of the House.

Long live Democratic rule.

1. I think I will focus on her face a lot
It sure is the nicest thing to look at on that stage and will help deal with the sickness I get when looking at President Fredo.

3. She will be the RADIANT face of the Dems tonight
while Swingin' Dick Cheney will be sitting there, all sour and snarly, bruised especially by today's Libby trial proceedings. Talk about a study in contrasts!

5. No, this time I will listen, for the silence at the applause points
This will be a National embarrassment.

6. A thrill I don't remember since Bill Clinton's inauguration in 1993
Wonderful. How proud we can be and how distinguished she looked.
