16. In high school, I worked at a high-end "hi-fi/stereo" store in Tulsa

This was in the mid 60s and vinyl records were the only real music medium. The 'needles' that played them (for those who don't remember) would pick up gunk from not-so-clean LP records and make them sound like shit. Frequently someone would bring in their turntable complaining it sounded bad...the guy who owned the store would check the needle and say "oh, you just need a good blow job." I never figured out if he even knew what he was saying but it was funny as hell watching the customers' expressions when he said it! :D :rofl:

Unfortunately, I remember the LP's and the turntables, and the hassle of changing those dirty needles. Dropping and losing the needle in the carpet. The change from 78's to 45's....the innovation of the 45 stacker, that was great. Sigh.

22. It's a true story! I recently got another good turntable and brought my 500 albums

down from the attic...I'm getting the stuff I really like onto CDs little by little. It's time consuming but at least I get to listen while they're transferring! :D

I had a client in the UP. He'd always joke when there was 3 feet of snow on the ground that there were only 3 things to do...1.) Snowmobile/Ski, 2.) Drink 3.) Jerk-Off. Looks like someone's "entrepenurial spirit" is at work.
