Seriously, she's like not robotic anymore. She seems very friendly.

That short interview segment she had with Keith was normal sounding, and her web video she was also friendly there too.

1. I heard she's been taking speaking lessons.
I saw her on The View a few weeks ago and she gave a very relaxed, friendly interview.

4. Well, that's good.
Now we'll be able to decide based on her qualifications.

10. lol
BTW, People who know her say she is warm and friendly. I just think all those years of being attacked made her gun-shy. But now that she is a national candidate, it's time to show that she's more than a caricature.

2. I bet she's finally resolved the internal conflict from Bill's cheating. My mom
was kinda like that after my dad cheated. When she resolved herself of the conflict she chilled out and became more relaxed.

6. You should go to her web site and watch her video conference from yesterday.
Yesterdays is archived under videos, and I suspect they will do the same with tonights too, although I have no idea when.

I think you're seeing what someone is really like on a podium in front of a mic, and quite different when talking one on one.

Remember, the same thing was said about Gore & Kerry.

7. Given the pressure of being the first woman truly competitive for the presidency, she
has to be nearly superhuman.

IMO she's one hell of a lady. Hillary

8. She did very well on Keith's interview.
I think it stems, in part, from her knowledge that Olbermann would give her a fair shake and not play "gotcha!" games.

11. She's been doing really good...
I watched her web chat and she did a great job. She is all over the electronic voting issues. Supports paper ballots. She wants the science back in the FDA. She really hit on so much of what we talk about here on DU and she was right on.

14. I heard her speak in Long Beach two years ago

and she was just like tonight with Keith.

Warm, smart, articulate, thrilling to listen to ~ she is a real politician.

The crowd, young and old- many races, loved her instantly!

She entered like a rock star and left to rousing applause.

16. "There's a lot of bad actors in the world"
She said....we can't just make peace with our friends....
Bush doesn't want to talk to any bad guys.....but there's a lot of bad actors in the world- we have to talk to them too......!! that was great!!

It was the first time I believed her to be talking straight and not trying to be ultra careful with her words- refreshing!

You don't think she's got a coach?
I'd say the burden of proof lies on the side saying she hasn't got a coach.

Really, she isn't that bad. While I think she has misread things at time in the last few years and listened to DLC political advisors at times (an obvious mistake), she's not some type of vampire or anything. And she does get alot of things right.

She served New York during 9/11. Tends to strip away the nervous veneer.
