1. 'quite a spectacle"---with media following him all around yesterday. "Awkward" was
the phase used when he showed up.

2. He's Truly A Freak Show
Always has been. I'm not sure if its his sanctimonious demenaor or the fact he's such a hypocrite that does it...but he's got that "certain nothing". This isn't the media interested in hearing what he has to say, it's the vultures following the wounded animal...the ambulence chasers following the car swerving all over the road. They're waiting for a reaction, not an action...and I suspect Craig won't dissapoint.

I sure hope the court allows for his admission of guilt to be reversed and the DA presses forward with all the charges...Craig will be a gift that keeps on giving.

3. No way he will be convicted...
There is no way, if I was on a jury, I would not find reasonable doubt that foot tapping, some stall peeping, and hand gesturing amounted to some solicitation. Way to much doubt in my opinion.

4. If his admission is reversed and he keeps his seat
do you think he'll run for re-election?

5. I Think He's Looking For A Deal
A reversal of his guilty conviction keeps him "alive" to exit on his terms...and that's my suspicion here. At least he can bow out without the disgrace of the conviction and kick the can down the road. A would suspect a trial wouldn't get rolling until after next year's primary or even the general election and that he'll cut a deal with the party to fade away at the right price. He'll want the full pension and indemnity...rather than walking out as a felon and face loss of his benefits.

I still can't see him running for re-election but if there's no conviction, I could see him playing the "victim" and at least winning the Repugnican primary.

Cheers...
