How buttkissing can CNN get
After Vicente Fox was interviewed on Larry King and was called a windshield "cowboy", because he is afraid of horses, CNN must have messed their pants.

They sent Ed Henry all the way to Texas to interview, wait, wait, all the windshield cowboys there. No honest to goodness cowboy who rides a horse.

They all say they don't always use a horse they use vehicles to ride the range. And then Henry comes up with the phrase they guys don't think bush is a windshield cowboy.

Well we know CNN doesn't think bush is anything but a god. He is lowering himself to appear before us.

Honestly I must have read this at least a dozen times and I still have no idea what any of that was trying to say.

7. Translation
Vicente Fox called Bush a "windshield cowboy" on Larry King. This name might be taken as an insult, since it implies that Bush is not a "real" cowboy, but rather some kind of fake cowboy. You see, real cowboys ride horses, not trucks. Since Bush refused to ride a horse with Fox, Fox mocked his cowboy posture as inauthentic. That's the implication.

To counteract this assertion, CNN had two choices. First, they could argue that Bush is NOT a windshield cowboy (i.e., that he actually rides horses). Second, they could argue that real cowboys drive trucks (i.e., you don't need a horse to be a cowboy). They chose the second option, sending a correspondent to Texas to interview "real" cowboys who did all their "cowboying" from a truck. To the OP, this ridiculous story indicates that CNN will do anything to protect Bush from insults.

I think i speak some bitwit. let me translate:

Does that make it any clearer?

...fallen...

Absolutely disgusting that they feel the need to try and bolster the image of the Connecticut Cowboy after being 'outed' by Vicente Fox.

Fox was on Realtime this past Friday and related again the story about the fake 'fraidy-cat "cowboy" in the WH....he was giggling as he recounted the tale...He also mentioned that the chickenshit-in-chief even tried to blame 'security' for not LETTING him get on the horse...Fox (and the studio audience) laughed their asses off at that lame excuse...

16. We used to have a small herd of cattle
and we used horses to herd them.

But when it got to the point we couldn't keep it up and keep our day jobs, we hired some guys to take care of them.

and they used ATV's. (And all spoke spanish BTW).

But I kind of think thosee guys weren't scared of horses.

17. Horses and ATVs make sense. Pickup trucks not so much.

My horse has never seen a cow! She'd probably be scared of one becuase they's look, smell and sound funny! We may lease a small heifer to pasture with the horses so they'll get used to cows.

8. Vicente Fox told Larry King that * is afraid of horses and is a "windshield cowboy."
Edited on Mon Oct-15-07 11:50 AM by CottonBear
Larry showed a clip of * visiting Fox's ranchero in Mexico and petting a horse (very tentatively). Fox noted that * was very uncomfortable and afraid of the horse because of the way he petted the horse and his general body language.

So, Ed Henry goes out to Texas post haste and sits on a horse (for the first time in his life) and files a report about windshield cowboys at a local rodeo who both drive trucks and ride horses and claim that trucks are more economical to operate than horses.

:wtf:

18. How fucking stupid are these media people.. and who cares...
on some very large ranches, the use of a helicopter is also used.

Bush is and has been throughout this presidency, afraid of horses.. Personally, I think they can smell the stench of him like a snake.. ever see a horse around a snake.. they start bucking and going wild...
