The Incredible Vision of the Man Who Should be President...
The World According to Gore: by Bill Katovsky

"handy and insightful overview of everything Gore-ish. Neatly organized into various topics: climate crisis; the 2000 Presidential race; Hollywood; technology; the media; George Bush's Reign of Lies, Terror, and Fear; Running for President Again; and others. Very readable, very lively, very engaging, and not at all ponderous or preachy. Editor Katovsky's introduction gets to the heart of the matter: Here's a guy, Gore, who won the popular vote in 2000; and but for the Supreme Court's dubious intervention, we would now have a different leader in office. Oh, what might have been! Gore has evolved since that debacle, and we gain a sense of his unofficial statesman-like influence on American political culture--in fact, most of the quotes post-date 2000 and are very up-to-date. The book is extremely timely right now: lots of folks have been mobilizing into a "draft Gore" movement. Even if that movement ultimately fails, this book will stand as a lasting testimony to the road not taken. That's not necessarily a reason for despair but, rather, an occasion to see that the march of history is not pre-scripted or written in stone."

1. You know I voted for the first time in my life back in 2000 and it was for Gore.
I used to think that in some ways I was bad luck, I was so dissapointed when they stole that election, I failed then to believe I was the only one to take the time to ensure bush not get in the white house, I am not proud of the fact that I had never voted but once having voted I will never give up that right again regardless of those believing voting does not matter.

2. And now you'll have a chance to vote for him again!
And this time, it will NOT be stolen from him.

3. Same here, didn't vote for Clinton in 1996, Gore was my first presidential vote.
Lotta good that did me.
