Would a Gore Campaign Raise Awareness For Global Warming?

Do you think he would draw more attention to the issue if he entered the race and got on television and into every major newspaper and magazine on a constant basis?

That's what I thought.

Even if he campaigns on a single issue (or two or three), and nakedly makes his campaign nothing more than a platform for raising awareness, wouldn't that be doing more to, you know, raise awareness for the issue?

It would be an opportunity to inject reason back into the political discourse and give him a chance to slap around the media at every turn.

Basically, he could do whatever he wanted and get out exactly the message that he wanted to - even if he doesn't plan on pushing his own candidacy particularly hard.

Of course, I think he could do much more than that, but that is one hell of a bare minimum!
