The State of US Democracy
I fear it is not good...

Why?

We have attacks on individuals while ignoring the true crimes commited against democracy since 2000

Lets list them, shall we?

2000

Choice point created caging lists in Florida, some of them locking people from voting for crimes they were going to commit years later. Yep, them felon lists were effective, weren't they?

How many people were kept away?

Over 50K

What is a fact is that most of them were African Ameircan and most of them were going to vote Democratic... things that go you go hmmm in the night

Oh and then there was this matter of the USSC... and stoping the vote count

2002...

First year we saw Diebold deploy machines....

Anybody remember the Georgia File and how to manipulate the votes? I am sure you all know Senator Cleeland is no longer in the Senate though.

There were also caging lists used, as it was a prelim for the 2004 elections

Flash forward to 2004

Ohio... need I say more? And again the party refused to fight

But caging lists were not limited to OH, they were also present in places like New Mexico and we know even troops were placed on them. Troops that were expected to vote for the Dems... but I hear you, trooops are core Republicans... wrong

2006

Caging lists, electronics, both combined to create a perfect storm and anywhere where the elections were close... they were adjudicated to a Republican... oh and locally Mayer Frey in San Diego had her election stolen as well

So while many keep fixating on a person, and telling us why we should prevent people from running... what I have listed is the tip of the iceberg.

Why is it that people cannot see what is actually going on (The patient's prognosis is truly poor right now) insteand of keep hanging on to mythologies... I will not know.

1. I fear the prognosis is beyond poor.
considering that democracy flat-lined in 2000.

2. I like to think that a little epinephrine, pushed of course
and paddles can still do the trick on this patient

But I am not hopeful

And you used the same phrase my brother in law and I have been using for a while

:-)

Like minds and all that

and 2006 I can tell you why... enough people showed up to avoid the flips at most places

Oh and to add, of the best known crimes, are you trying to tell me that I imaged December 12th, 2000

6. Actually not really
but democracy is a contact sport

It only becomes this unresponsive when a people, any people, forget their role in the game.

That is why I am still hoping an epi push and paddles will do the trick

We are that epi push and paddles
