5. Looked like Dennis did boycott O'Reilly. Not his best.
O'Reilly bullied the hell out of him. I expected better. I really did. Of course I am switching to Keith.

2. I watched the clip and then tuned here to DU.
It was a reasoned, intelligent debate between two fairly civilized people.

If Dennis can get on Bill's show, why not others? What do they have to fear by avoiding? Is not the point of politics is to state a case in order to win over opponents?

6. My thinking is that by appearing on Fox "News", they (Democrats) and other
progressives help to certify the phony "fair and balanced" crap of a pure propaganda station. I believe that if we just ignore them by not appearing, they will be like angry dogs that they are -just barking , spitting and howling.

3. I can't won't refuse to ever allow that channel code into my remote.
KeithO is on, and after a long, hard day, far more relaxing and informative.

4. Cavuto is on now, challenging Buffet's claim of wanting to pay more.
Edited on Wed Oct-31-07 07:18 PM by HypnoToad
Cavuto talking that Buffet doesn't see a distinction between billionaires who only pay 18% in taxes, and those making only $300 thousand... (what about those making only $40 thousand? They see a bit more come out and surely they need it more?)

Edit: Spelling

Edit - addendum: It'd be nice if everybody could have two shows like Cavuto. The pay in television is high indeed. :)

7. Stupid me
I thought you were referring to the despicable Dennis Miller, who was on O'Reilly tonight. He was ranting about Biden making 9-11 a punchline last night during the debate. Actually, Biden made Rudy the punchline but I guess Dennis wasn't able to comprehend the joke. And, of course, he and O'Reilly kept up the Rosie O'Donnell hates America and blames Bush for 9-11 tired story. The right no longer even tries to discuss complex issues. It's just emotion aimed at Big Names. Biden! Hillary! Rosie! Their dialogue is lowest common denominator drivel. Dennis Miller is bitter. At one time, he actually appeared in movies. Hard to believe, I know. Now, he keeps getting kicked off one network after another. Apparently his latest debacle is a sports network, versa? versus? I doubt he even knows. Don't blink. This one will probably last as long as his MSNBC stint.
