1. I was very moved!
Enough so to tilt my primary season neutrality rules. Can we talk Webb into running?

2. Way Too Early
Glad he's my new junior Senator, but don't think he's ready to top the ticket yet.

16. Maybe he hasn't had the seasoning yet
but I like his instincts. I can not wait to read an actual transcript. I salute you for electing a very noble gentleman.

17. Check Out the Tidewater Precincts of Virginia...
... that's where many military (Navy) families live, and those areas tend to vote GOP. They handed it to Webb.

That says a lot, and it says a lot about Wesley Clark's chances.

9. He'll be supporting Wes Clark.....
Who was one of the ones instrumental in talking Webb into running in the first place.

Remember is reference to a General running in 1952 who ended a war nobody wanted? I didn't consider that "coincidental".

15. Ooh...did you see this article?
Jim Webb and Wes Clark: The Return of the Warrior/Scholar

The generation has turned. And instead I see Jim Webb, warrior/scholar of Virginia, of whom his new constituents in the Old Dominion today sport bumper stickers which read, “My Senator is Fearless.” He is the "monkey god" awakening an entirely new paradigm; a new generation and a new Democratic culture of leadership, professionalism, valor and excellence in all areas of governance and its attendant industries like press and public relations. And he is prelude to Wesley Clark.

18. Webb Will Help Give General Clark Entree...
... into the swing precincts of Virginia (e.g., Tidewater precincts, where the military families are persuadable).
