Anyone as corrupt as Repub Ernie Fletcher should be handily defeated in a reelection attempt, not even considering the 'anonymous mystery robocalls with Pat Boone raising 'gay support issues.'

It sounds similar to one of Karl Rove's dirty tricks, but Rove would have been smart enough not to run it knowing that Fletcher had no chance of winning.

Because it was run, and Rove likely was not involved, there are going to be 'fingerprints' all over that robocall -- especially since Pat Boone was clearly the voice on that tape. Maybe Pat needs to sit down and answer a few questions under oath about how campaign laws might have been violated (I assume the same law applies there as here that it is illegal to run a campaign ad without identifying the source of the ad).
