After serious and well-documented hearings of Lord Cheney's abuses of power, his most offensive crimes will be entered into Congressional public record and Congressional conversation. It is vital that a thorough documentation be enter into our system of laws, and that is reason enough to move on Impeachment.
When the Judiciary Committee sends the Impeachment of Dick Cheney to the full House for a vote it will be a cause to celebrate. His filthy lies and criminal acts will be hung on the country's clothesline for all to see.
When the full House votes, we will then have, on record, every representative supporting Impeachment OR supporting war crimes and violations of the Constitution. If it fails to get the votes in the House to send it to the Senate, so be it. We must have the names of those elected representatives who favor War Criminals over the Constitution. And they should be haunted by that vote until the day they are kicked out of office. Distinguishing Traitors from Patriots is reason enough to move ahead.
If it makes it to the Senate, we will see who there accepts War Criminals in the highest office. Their is no ambiguity in Cheney's crimes and the Democrats cannot lose by doing the right thing.
The only loss would be if those who hold the Sole Power to Impeach let us down by giving War Crimes a pass.
