Did I hear Brian Williams right just now? |

I'm watching the post-game show on MSNBC.
Did Brian Williams really say that listening to Bush's speech was like watching a man fall under a subway train? And that the highlight was when he shifted his attention to the gallery?
Did he really say that?
Have I been missing something by not watching NBC?

3. No, he was talking about the guy in the gallery who rescued |
|
the man who fell on the subway tracks. The context was that after hardly anybody applauded the proposal for the civilian volunteer corps, all he could do was introduce the guests in the gallery and wrap it up.

5. Exactly. Williams also said the shrub got no applause from the Joint Chiefs.. |
|
with that comment. Of course the joint Chiefs have no business applauding ANYTHING AWOL Bush says.
