Doubling the Oil Reserve = War with Iran
Anyone catch that part??? A war with Iran would shut down the Gulf to tankers and take out a large bulk or the worlds oil supply for a while. Anyone think hes doubling the oil reserve in anticipation of this?

1. Or, not quite as scary ...
... doing so just takes more oil out of the commercial marketplace, thus driving prices (and profits) up for his oil buddies.

3. Yup
It went up $2.48 a barrel today after the announcement about the oil reserves was made.

2.  Caught it.
I also thought: nice response to current "oil surplus". Somebody isn't making their accustomed profit.
