5. Gore and Kerry both won. DNC let the RNC steal it for Bush in 2000, 2002, and 2004.

They sat on their hands overseeing collapsed party infrastructures in too many states.

They let the RNC tactics go uncountered while the RNC spent its years gaining control of every level of the election process where the votes are allowed, cast and counted.

If Democrats had the secured election process we thought we were getting, then Gore or Kerry would be in the WH today.
