Hillary could have raised her stock if she had told her supporters NOT TO BOO the other candidates..
All Hillary had to do was tell them that was against the rules of the Debate, and they should not boo her rivals because everyone had a right to be heard.

So what did Hillary do?

Oh yeah.... she smiled.

9. Exactly. With all the downright nasty stuff that's been said about her right here on DU....
her detractors on here are upset because Obama and Edwards got booed for their disengenuous attacks on her?

How stupid can you get?

18. Suggesting a candidate ask her supporters to behave in public is nasty?
Suggesting taking the high road would win more friends is an attack?

Jesus! That takes it.

Guess it can get more stupid all the time.

When the audience was stacked against Hillary at the yearly Kos convention. Nevadans don't like candidates who make personal attacks, and they showed their displeasure at Obama and Edwards' bully-style.

20. OK now we can make a list of all the Hillary apologists just from this thread....
Edwards more than held his own.

Hillary has been known to bend the rules whenever she sees fit, and so far the MSM let's her get away with it.

She breaks in to say things whether she is called upon or not --definitely not allowed in the rules all the candidates agreed to in advance.

What if Dennis Kucinich did that when he was ignored for more than 30 minutes? What would you be saying about Dennis?

There are 'rules for Hillary' and 'rules for everybody else.'

She could have done herself some good by trying to uphold those rules rather than just smiling.

46. I'm NOT your 'Sugar' --but why not tell us what you really thought(or will you disappear again?)
Every time you have been asked to explain some comment you seem to disappear into the ether, only to reappear and start the process all over again.

I'm here... you're here ... so tell us. Why did you and Hillary smile at the Hillary Backers' booing other candidates in violation of the debate rules?

Did you think that was appropriate of Hillary when she knew the rules and agreed to them before the Debate?

Will you answer this? Or are you the one who is full of 'merde'? (sorry about the French, but it was your word).

People boo. People cheer. It's all part of the game.

I was surprised that they allowed people to boo and cheer. Normally they tell the audience to hold off on applause until after it is over. Of course, when they do that people still get their cheers in but I found it strange that, as far as I know, they didn't have that disclaimer.
