1. I caught that.
He also said something like "I wouldn't want to be called a Republic."

2. I'm sure there are more of them tired of it, that find it pretty childish

I guess if they thought it were worth it, some of them would use the term "The Greenic Party"

3. How did it come up? Did someone mention Bush* continually
saying "Democrat" party, even though the transcript and teleprompter said it correctly?

5. I think the whole thing is silly. Reacting only makes the repukes get the reaction
they want. Ignore it and moveon

7. It's Like Good And Well To Me
Good is an adjective. Well is an adverb. Nancy Pelosi is doing a good job. Nancy Pelosi does her job well.

Democrat is a noun. Democratic is an adjective. The best politicians are Democrats. The Democratic politicians are the best.

It's a matter of proper grammar.

13. It's a grammar thing, yes, but it's mostly about RESPECT. If my name is "Deborah", and
you keep calling me "Debbie", and I ask you to call me "Deborah" time and again, and you refuse - then you are being disrespectful to me.

I understand those who don't think it's a big deal, but to me, it's hugh. And as long as pissypants calls me a member of the "democrat party", I'll know he's a disrespectful punk whose "bipartisan" references are 100% horseshit.

9. There's a reason that Repubs do it, and it's not just to annoy us
Frank Lutz (sp?) the Republican pollster, determined that focus groups thought that the term "Democratic" was good, and gave off positive vibes. Newt Gingrich was the one who then promoted the idea of referring to the Democratic Party as the "Democrat" Party.

(Actually, I think it goes back further than that, but that is how it came up in recent years.)

8. I usually can't stomach Joe, but have to say for the first time
he made me laugh with the "wave" comment and he's right. Just imagine being at a football game where everyone is doing the wave. It goes up then down and that is what it must have felt like sitting there in that audience.

Okay, the cold medicine is getting to me:crazy:
