Oak tree words
in a way it's a free speech issue-- those bodies in the trees speak eloquently, with or without words. tyrannies always try to stifle speech, since they fear that their hold on power is tenuous and will collapse, and they're right--nothing survives but the sun, and crab grass, and dandelions. if someone tells you you can't speak, that it's against the law or a court order, he's wrong--unless america, at last, has lost its precious flower of freedom to tyranny's frost. and if the earth's turned cold, the big winter descended, the ice returned, it's only metaphorically. the reality is the earth is heating up. what my geology professor warned about 30 years ago is finally making headline news. they can tell you that you can't speak, and you can believe it, or not-- which do you want?
