From what I read this morning no one is bailing out homeowners facing foreclosure.

There is a plan to ask lenders to voluntarily keep the rates on sub-prime loans at the original level for a couple of years. This would only apply to those whose loans are current. But from what I read this will not help much since many people will not be able to pay the starting rates which are around the 7 to 9 percent area.

I have not read about any bailout of people facing foreclosure
