Do We Have A Polling Place Here At DU ???

I ask because I ran into a straw poll at DailyKos for November, which has Edwards as the winner. But more than that, it has 15,768 votes which seems to make it somewhat statistically significant.

DU, OTOH, had three recent November straw polls, with

All showing Edwards as winning, but maybe not so statistically accurate. Not that internet polling will ever be very accurate, but it would be nice to have a single poll, maybe one every two weeks, that was pinned somewhere, that could be wiped clean for each new vote\poll, and that could be used as a barometer of DU voting preferences.

Do we have such a thing, should we have such a thing?

And with Edwards winning in these various snapshot polls, how come the Clinton\Obama people are always at each others throats, LOL???

1. I think it would be nice to have one official DU poll each month

that would be locked at the top of the page and you have 2-3 days for people to respond to. It might cut down on all the other polls.

Maybe they could let the voting last for a week so everybody gets a chance, and then let it sit for a week, and then start all over again. At least until the nominee is set.
