Just a reminder to everyone....(I needed to get this off my chest)
In times of despair and sorrow and moments when we feel we've lost all hope, the thing to do is keep pushing a little bit harder, try tugging the rope a little more, and then you'll be pleasantly surprised. Everyone and everything meets its waterloo at some point. If something seems like it can't possibly go on forever, it obviously can't. :)

And remember, light always overcomes darkness.

Peace,

IL

2. I like hearing this
This is one of the reasons I keep coming back to DU - people here run the gamut, and when I'm in despair of our country ever changing, I can usually find someone here to tell me that there is still hope. Thanks.

3. Don't Quit!
Edited on Mon Dec-03-07 03:22 PM by Breeze54
As a child, I got in some trouble and the teacher made me memorize a poem as punishment.
Luckily, my Mom had this poem on the back of the half bath door, so I read it everyday
anyway and so the punishment wasn't so hard but I've always remembered that poem since
then and I've always recalled it when times got tough and it helped me get through it.
