On my wishlist: a Lowe's gift card
Edited on Mon Dec-03-07 04:21 PM by underpants
I am the designated tree putter-upper in my family both the one at my house and at my mom's. Okay so I did that but I (jokingly at first) came up with a great idea of how to get some chore's done around the house

You know what they have down at the Lowe's now? I saw this the other day and thought "Man one of those would be GREAT!!!"

"Mexicans" they got a whole bunch of 'em just outside the contractors check-out.

I'm asking for a Lowe's card this year. Whenever I have a chore to do I can just go down and get me some extra help....... hell screw it THE HELP!!!

Those leaves aren't going to rake themselves.

3. When I was moving into an apt. in New Orleans 15 years or so ago
the two guys that drove my furniture down from Connecticut couldn't get the refrigerator in the door. We needed just one more person. I went down to a nearby Winn-Dixie where there were unemployed guys hanging around outside to help customers load their groceries into their cars. I offered to pay one of them to help us with the refrigerator. He agreed. One good push and the problem was solved. He started walking back down the street. I had to chase after him to give him the money.
