Banning Holiday Wish brings smiles to kids

The Sixth Annual Banning Holiday Wish program is in full swing again this holiday season. Banning Mayor Pro Tem Debbie Franklin is chairing the annual event, once again.

“We are shopping this week and wrapping next week,” Franklin said. The gifts will be delivered to families during the week of Dec. 17, Franklin said.

The local community charity to make sure all Banning children and families have a happy and warm holiday season is supported by the Banning Chamber of Commerce, the city of Banning, local citizens and businesses, and the Sun Lakes community.

Franklin said the benevolent effort would make sure that all the children in the program have a new coat or sweater to help them make it through the winter months.
