I bet Hadley broke the news to Cheney that Intel wasn't going to support him and advised backing off Iran strike

and then Cheney's heart went irregular

Heard that During their visit to Washington last week, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni and Defense Minister Ehud Barak were briefed on the Intel report. So they knew it was coming before news papers let it out

I have always wondered why the Arab nations didn't invade Iraq and remove us and the British. We were there illegally.

It's not surprising to see any elite leader "playing the dog and pony show" regarding oil. Maybe it's to scare Bush as to the power he does not have.

the arab monarchies were happy to see Saddam go. What they didn't count on was Rummy dismantling the entire bureaucracy (police, army, civil service) of Iraq and the chaos that ensued. He was trying to force the analysts to remove dissenting opinion about Iran not having a functional nuclear weapons program. The analysts stood there ground. Now the truth be told. But that doesn't change the fact that Cheney withheld the NIE for a year trying to keep the truth from being told.
