1. If our presence in '79 was "good", why did the revolution hate us so much?

Frankly, we haven't had ANY presence in Iran since 1979 (except for some Reagan dirty dealings).

As for "good presence", we haven't had one there since the 1950's, when the CIA organized the coup that ousted Mossadeq.
