Bush about to set a new low standard for preemptive action
I really think that he's going to bomb Iran soon because they "might someday" develop nuclear weapons. How in the fuck do you argue with someone of that mindset? You could conceivably use military action against ANY country with that logic. Venezuela? Cuba? Yemen? Morocco? Who knows - it's possible that any of them could "someday" develop nuclear weapons, so why not bully them also?

Where is OUR invading army? Where are OUR liberators?

1. rationale for invading Iran
Silly boy, you're being too literal. Some ridiculous claim of
extreme preemption is just the posited excuse he uses to
attack yet another nation. It's not that anyone takes it
seriously (except the media whores). It's pure pro forma.
Bushworld is just too, too bizarre.

Great phrase!

3. wait
The Dictator of the United States does not answer to us. He has to uphold Cheney's 1% Doctrine. GWB may have knowledge of an unborn Iranian child that, if allowed to mature to adulthood, could possibly do harm to the USA!

Knowing this, what other possible choice could our Dictator possibly have?

Stop being so obstructionist and just let the poor man DO HIS JOB! If you try to stop him, Dick Cheney may not give him a Christmas Bonus this year!

4. Ah, the fundie's worst dilemna
We all know how they feel about abortion, and how every life is "sacred" and must be allowed to develop.

What if they knew an unborn child would grow up to be the Antichrist?

5. abortion?
Reminds me of what Molly Ivans once said; "The Republicans aren't pro-life, they're pro-birth."

Therefore, once the evil Iranian fetus is safely out of the womb, it's "fair game".

6. I know what you mean. Back in the 70's there was a story touting the dangers of PCP.
A man under the influence of PCP decapitated his new born son. He believed his son to be the antichrist. So he killed him to save the world from the antichrist. By Bushs policies. This man is not only sane. But a world Hero. After all he saved us all from his kid the antichrist.
