Stuttgart - Vice-President Dick Cheney took time out from a hunting excursion in Arkansas Tuesday to do a little shopping, and Channel 7’s cameras were along for the trip.
Cheney was making his third trip to Mack's Prairie Wings. Management says the store has shut down for one of Cheney's previous visits, but this time they stayed open--and the Vice-President shopped alongside Arkansas outdoorsmen and women.
Dick Cheney: “Mack's is one of the great places in America for this sort of thing. I'm on their mailing list. I get the catalogue all the time, so we had a little extra time today and thought we'd stop by."
Chuck Lock, Mack's Prairie Wings: "It's a good feeling to know that you're respected that much from somebody of that sort."
