Actually, I am bigoted about a lot of groups:

- thieves
- muggers
- embezzlers
- arsonists
- car jackers
- bigots

Hmm, that last one is a tough one for me, but somehow I am able to handle it.

Yes, I'm bigoted against bigots (even the ones I've never met.) I hate all bigots. I know, its very bigoted of me. I just really hate people who hate groups of people! What can I say? I hate racists, I hate homophobes, and I really, really fucking hate religious people who hate other people because their religion tells them to. Man, do I hate those bigots.

I don't have to meet them and I already don't like them. Somebody once pointed out to me that I was bigoted. I said "tough". My philosophy is; if you have too much, that means you don't give enough.

8. I think being a bigot means you judge a whole group based on the actions of a few in that group

with 2 billion in a group (let's say...Christians) and a few at the top being dumb asses, is it fair to judge a whole group based on the few in leadership (if so, you as an American are in deep shit).

Check out http://www.usnpl.com for a list of newspapers in all states. Pick a state (say, MO) and read the news from all those small towns.

tons of small town Christian folks helping out those in need. They may be in the majority as far as 'faith' goes, but they certainly are out there helping the homeless and the needy day in and out.

And yet we still consider them the bad guys. No wonder they ain't voting for our party.

I did just this the other day - I read through every paper in MO, and a lot of them had headline stories about churches helping out those less fortunate (while our govt ignored them). And still we attack them here day in and out. And make fun of them.

One of the things about bigotry is the black and white totality of it all. Take a pen home from work once accidentally and neglect to bring it back and you become a thief. You will always be a thief, and need to wear a scarlet T.

Terrorists is another fuzzy label. A few bomb attempts were made on Hitler. Are the people who set those bombs terrorists? If not, then what about people who oppose a tyrant like Putin with violence? What if they oppose our own foreign or domestic policy?

It almost sounds like anybody with a perceived imperfection becomes a target for your righteous and judgemental hate - their flaws define them and make them worthless, subhuman even. All those fingers you point at other people, just point three fingers back at you. You'd better start pointing with the whole hand.
