Is this what Republicans really voted for? And does anyone really think the current crop of Republicans are going to be any different if they get into the White House? The GOP simply doesn't stand for anything any more. That's why a lot of us (me, Markos, Arianna), left the part long ago, and lots more are leaving today. It's the reason far more people call themselves Democrats than Republicans when polled about their political allegiances. The Republicans have become the party of nasty old men who have nothing left to stand for. And the American people know it. But just in case they don't, we have people like George Bush who are happy to constantly remind them.

I've given up on it. Average American who SHOULD CARE...don't give a crap or they would be out in the streets and their churches would be mounting campaigns against Bush.

What does that tell you? Few people care about this issue. I don't know why...but the WHY is why we might not get a Dem President in '08. Brainwashed or disenfranchised Americans who believe that helping children have access to Health Care (including their own children) is somehow "ANTI-AMERICAN."

Maybe Lou Dobbs has trashed it on his show saying it's a "Boondoggle" to allow "Illegal Aliens" to get Health Care over YOUR CHILD...or whatever the RW Think Tank SPIN is on this.

It's sick But, also says Dems are NOT after 7 long years and two STOLEN ELECTIONS understand how to FRAME AN ISSUE to their Advantage. :puke: is all I can add...sorry.
