Anti-evolution LTTE. Where do they get this crap?
I swear, someone has to be ulling this out of Jerry Falwell's decomposing, stinking ass.

Consider the following:

Evolutionists believe that changes in an organism occur through mutations - yet mutations are lethal.

Evolutionists believe that life evolved from non-living matter but are unable to show how the processes necessary for life - digestion, reproduction, respiration, etc. developed and how these very complex processes could combine to produce life.

Evolutionists believe that dinosaurs lived before man - yet in Glen Rose, Texas we have man's fossilized footprints in the same layer as the dinosaurs.

Evolutionists believe that it took millions of years for life to develop. Many physicists have ran calculations that show that if you extend back only 15,000 years that the energy of the earth's magnetic field would approximate that of a magnetic star. Under those conditions life would be impossible to exist on earth.

Our sun is losing energy. It is losing at least a foot in surface material every hour. If you were to go back tens of thousands of years, the sun would be much larger and would scorch the earth so that no life would be possible. The larger sun would pull the earth into it. Our earth cannot be as old as the evolutionists claim.

1. The Bible, originally.
Then when that gets debunked, they make up something else.

6. I don't recall the bibile saying the sun was so hot thousands
of years ago that the earth couldn't support life.

(we need an emoticon who's scratching his head)

8. Nah, the Bible says the God created man from clay 6,000 years ago.
And when that got debunked, they made up shit about the sun. Just like I said.

10. Where do they get this 6000 years figure?
All the begats and whatnot?

I had never heard it until the fundies got loud in the last few years.

17. the begats are very detailed from Adam to Noah
"And Adam lived 130 years and begot a son ... and named him Seth...Seth lived 105 years and begot Enosh ...Enosh lived 90 years and begot Cainan...Cainan lived 70 years and begot Mahalel ..." Genesis 5: 3 - 32
Then Genesis 11: 10 - 26 for Noah to Abram

Maybe there's more, but some Bishop of Usshur added all this up in the year 1047 or something and came up with 4004 B.C. Probably you can read about it in Wiki if you are interested.

3. Well then, I guess God did it.
That's the only rational answer to questions you don't understand which are based upon misstatements.

God did it.

4. This Christian believes in Thermodynamics and Quantum Mechanics
But not that gosh darn Biological Science of Evolution. Love Bohr, hate the Darwin.

9. Thank you for having the discipline to learn science! People like the
LTTE writer don't have the energy or discipline for anything but shallow bogus arguments.

15. My intuition tells me the opposite thing.
The science of evolution is solid, so solid that the modern study of biology is the study of evolution.

I'm not so sure about physics. We have this marvelous coincidence of mathematics and observation, but we seem to be missing something very fundamental about it all. I'm pretty sure it has to do with our perception of time. There is something very important about the structure of the universe, something that ties together all the loose ends, that we simply can't see because there never was any biological advantage to be gained by seeing it.

As a Christian I may tend to be a bit of a mystic for that reason.

16. It's all tied together
Life's form and function are interwoven with the Physics of the Cosmos.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

5. "... and would scorch the earth ..:"
and this guy's farts are scorching a once perfectly good seat cushion, and he's taking up space.

The sad part is, these people think what they say makes sense.

11. Here goes
1. Not all mutations are lethal, and mutation is only one of many sources of genetic diversity.

2. Evolution explains how life forms all descended from a common ancestor. It doesn't address the origin of life.

3. Those "human" footprints were long ago shown to be dinosaur footprints.

4. The Earth's magnetic field has changed both in magnitude and direction within recent geological time.

5. The Sun both shrinks and expands, like a ringing bell.

12. The very first statement is false - mutations are rarely fatal
And what the Hell is this about the earth's magnetic field?

This person better research some basic scientific fac .... oops, I forgot. "Facts" are just like "opinions" to these people.

18. Yeeks!
I'm pretty sure I had a better understanding of science just from reading Stan Lee comic books, as a kid.

How in the world did this letter get published?
