Lets say $50,000 tops for a 1500 square foot office? Base rent, why didn't he create one? What's the real deal? I mean, a real Presidential run would call for having a campaign office for your manager right? Didn't he have one in Iowa in 2004? Oh wait, he did. So what happened? Was Kucinich in debt going into this race from the 2004 race? Was he trying to pay off that debt? Go look at the FEC, you'll find some interesting answers.

1. More than he could afford. He didn't have the Lobbyists and Celebrities donating to him
with overwhelming BIG MO... He had to choose whether to get his message out...even if he failed and that it was more important to keep to his message than go against HIll/Bama...when he knew he couldn't get the BIG DOLLARS... what I think, anyway.

2. The debate prequalifications DO NOT state that he has to RENT.
They state that he must "maintain" an office in the state, PERIOD. Which, of course, Dennis Kucinich CLEARLY HAS.

It doesn't say "BUY," "RENT," or anything else.

Apparently, that's not quite good enough for the Des Moines Register.

I'm sure they were just going to ignore him during the debate and then ask him about UFOs, anyway.

It never ceases to amaze me just how many people are scared shitless of this little guy. Stands up to bigEnergy, bigBanks, bigCorporate, even the friggin' MOB!

He would have more than likely made all other candidates look like the gutless corporate shills they undoubtably are, and we can't have that, OK?

3. Did that nut case Alan Keyes have an office in Iowa?? From what I'm
hearing, MSNBC for one, was shocked to see him in that debate. Something is fishy here. Kucinich is not my #1, but this is just not right..

5. Political debates don't need truth tellers anyway.
I know, ask him a question about UFO's and don't ask anyone about the crimes against the constitution and the people(as we're working to redefine that). Throw a nickle at the people in a minimum wage increase and let's open up that NAFTA CAFTA highway. Then ask them what their favorite bible quote is.:sarcasm:

16. There's no question that Kucinich speaks his mind truthfully, the question is whether he's running
a real campaign.

7. So no one has addressed the real issue, that Kucinich's campaign never opened a campaign office...
So someone who has never polled above 5%, ever, and has no real campaign office in the state (working from home doesn't count people) should be included. He's raised almost 2 million this cycle, over half a million went to old debt. But he couldnt spend $50,000 on a campaign HQ?

They do for business but not politics? Odd.

14. You want to be President of the United States? Have a REAL campaign HQ...
What's the problem, he's raised more than 2 million, can't afford $1000 a month for a campaign HQ?

10. Are you his campaign manager?
Edited on Wed Dec-12-07 10:46 PM by OzarkDem
He has limited funds and has developed his own strategy to make the best use of them. That's his business.

Get over it. You're making a fool of yourself.

12. It's an issue
because of the debate. Kucinich knew he would be omitted for not having an office, and he chose not to open an office anyway.

13. Let's list the facts of the matter, and not get wrapped up in opinion.
Was a mandate issued that stated clearly that a rented office space had to be maintained to qualify?
