Wexler wants us to sign a petition to start impeachment hearings on Chaney.

I'm up for signing for that. He said that if gets enough, he can take the petition before congress and have some authority by the sheer numbers so that he can convince the rest of congress to take up his cause.

Wexler, a senior member of the House Judiciary Committee, has launched www.WexlerWantsHearings.com to mobilize grass roots and netroots support from across the nation in order to increase pressure on Congress to hold hearings. In a new video, featured at www.WexlerWantsHearings.com, Wexler issues a strongly worded statement in favor of hearings.

"Our Constitution mandates that the House of Representatives hold Presidents and Vice-Presidents accountable when they commit High Crimes... Accountability and the rule of law are not partisan; they are American. They supersede politics and strategy. We must hold all of our leaders accountable. No exceptions," Wexler states on the video.

How many of these do we have to sign before they get the idea that more than 70% of Americans have wanted this and an end to the Iraq war since before the 2006 elections? And that the messaqe of the elections last year should have been obvious even to idiots. Hopefully this isn't just another cynical petition to pretend they care. Maybe they're realizing that by caving to Bush they won't necessarily inherit his powers since they will be voted out on their asses. Hope springs eternal don't it.

FURTHER, DomainsByProxy.com registers with the address: 15111 N. Hayden Rd., Ste 160, PMB 353 - Scottsdale, Arizona 85260. Throw that address in google and all you get are references to spam offenders and worse.
