Why did the "democrats" cave again?
Giving king george his war money to pass along to his buddies?

Their excuses stopped making any sense six months ago and now they don't even bother to try to make excuses anymore.

count me out of the "system." No change is possible by voting.

1. I have been studying other systems for some time now.
We don't have to have this situation forever.

3. Help...a question
Where is the voting list? Who voted AGAINST this? I'm reading 90-3. What did the Prez candidates do? Were they all out campaigning, avoiding this vote? Thanks in advance

5. Are you talking about the vote to recognize Christmas or whatever that was?
One of the Democrats who voted "NO" was Jim McDermott (D-WA). He was protesting *'s veto of SCHIP.

McDermott's cool...IMO.

4. Let me know if you ever find out.
I'm feeling a bit let down, myself. I'm 2 months away from Medicare. so I've been around politics for a while. I have no idea what's going on.

7. Dems do not want to end the US Occupation of Iraq.
Dems & Repugs want to keep the Fiasco going Dems want to keep it going for their benefit of the '08 Elections & also want that Oil Deal to be finalized. Their excuse is that the Repugs & the Pres. keep the Dems from ending the US Occupation. The MIC & the Multi-Corps controls the Congress. Dems do not want to be responsible for the collapse of Iraq. The majority of Dems don't give a rat's ass what the citizens want. They are banking on Dems to vote for them no matter how betrayed they feel.
