Bush decption distraction AGAIN.
Wow! The Bush administration is really good ... at deception. George W. Bush
was caught red-handed trying to lie the country into "World War Three" and
... BAM! Just like that, his administration leaked word about destroyed CIA
torture tapes and ... BAM! No more talk about Mister Bush trying to lie the
country to war ... AGAIN!

1. They have that down to an art. But it doesn't hurt to have
MSM owned by your partners-in-crime.

16. Exactly
What they do isn't hard when the treasonous media are either politically jaundiced or just plain incompetent. OOOh! Snow storm coming! It's on ALL the news!

2. A watch as the torture tapes get closer to him.
BAM! We'll be treated with a fresh new scandal-distraction.

He is already putting pressure on Musuckey to impede investigations.

10. I don't think Mukasey is impeding investigations. If anything he is expedicting it.
Edited on Sat Dec-15-07 10:21 AM by Wizard777
If the Congressional investigation finds a crime. What are they going to do? They are going to send it to the AG for prosecution. What Mukasey is basically saying to Congress is I have the case NOW. Why should I refer it to Congress when they are just going to refer it back to me? I have the case NOW. Lets just cut out the political middlemen in Congress. If this case does spawn prosecutions in the executive branch. Bush is going to scream this is political. If the case doesn't go to Congress. Bush can't do that. I can't call Mukasey a bad guy in this yet.

13. We'll see.
I don't expect much to come from Muksey's investigation. I don't see him expediting it either. The fact that he is unwilling to share his information is troubling. The DoJ have been involved in the torture tapes since the beginning.

This is why a Special Prosecutor would be better. It would keep politics out of it, but also keep the Justice Dept. out of it. What do you think they'll find on themselves?

9. here I am harping this same thing but until we get a handle on our press we are screwed
only with the press carrying the water for the torterors are they able to do it, so too say

its the press we need to focus on. without it we have nothing. The majority do not go to the internet for their news yet, they will one day though

14. What good is talk
Does it matter if Bush* is a LIAR? We all know he is. does it matter that he is running a Criminal enterprise? We all know he is. These things just don't matter because no one is going to do anything about it...Does it matter that the CIA destroyed evidence? We know this Administration has done nothing but...Ten million missing e-mails, refusal to allow anyone a look at any Presidential Papaers as required by Congressional Law. Does it matter? We have NO ONE that is going to do anything about it.....It is better to think "happy thoughts" because Amerika has become a Criminal Enterprise and elections won't change that fact...

The people don't want to know about our corrupt and criminal government, they might feel compelled to do something about it and not indulge in the "One Time Lolla-Palooza, 50% Off, Last Chance, Pre-XMAS Sale!" or the "One Time Lolla-Palooza, 50% Off, Last Chance, After-XMAS Sale!"

they'll serve up some other one or recycle an old one.
