1. We have been watching
our large farm pond disappear.
If it was not for a small
underground spring and a trickle
off of the swamp, it would have
already dried up.

6. It is sad.
We have a chance
of rain this week-
end. Thank goodness.
I will take a heavy
dew if that is all I
can get.

4. That hurts to watch
and I am sorry. I have a 5 acre pond and 4 other small ponds. I watched all but the big one and one of the larger small ones go dry over several years. It is upsetting. Good luck and I wish much long, slow rain this spring for you.

5. Thank you.
It is hard to watch. We
have the chance of 1 to 3
inches of rain this weekend,
keeping my fingers crossed!

3. We were dry in 2006
Our 2006 record drought in north Texas was ended by record rainfall in the spring of 2007. From one extreme to the other!
Your lake will refill again, and this will be just a memory. Take a lot of pictures!
