Want to know a secret? You can pass a lot of multiple choice exams just by consistently choosing the longest answer. To tell the truth requires you to be precise and exact.

To lie, you can be short and cute. That is what the media loves... sound bites that are short and cute.

Democrats are at a disadvantage against the republican scumbags on the hill when the Democrats abide by the rules and speak the truth.

If a Democrat gets elected president, he/she will be obligated to try to right the wrongs of eight years of this sorry excuse for an administration, yet they will probably *try* to do it without signing statements and with far less personal power than this president has stolen from the American people.

It will not be fast, it will not be pretty. In fact, if the Democratic support for the next Democratic President can be judged by the Democratic support that Congress is getting now, it will not be successful.

One has to stop the downward spiral before the course can be corrected. It is a slow process, particularly when you have the other branches of government stacked against you, given that you do not want to do further damage to the country by being fast and loose with the rules and the truth.
