It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
It's a beautiful day in this neighborhood,
A beautiful day for a neighbor.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...

It's a neighborly day in this beauty wood,
A neighborly day for a beauty.
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?...

I've always wanted to have a neighbor just like you.
I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So, let's make the most of this beautiful day.
Since we're together we might as well say:
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?
Won't you please,
Won't you please?
Please won't you be my neighbor?

1. It looks beautiful - from here!
My DH is from MA and remembers this well, but not so fondly. We just heard there are people at Foxboro now, helping to clear snow away for the game today and tailgating. Tailgating, in this? I'd be a chunk of ice by kick-off!
Go make a snow angel for me, wouldya, and stay warm! :hi:

4. Looks like my back porch.
I think it's changed over to sleet, buit it's hard to tell because the wind is blowing snow off the roof. We've gotten about 6-7 inches on top of the 10 inches we got the other day.

Other than that, I'm hangin in there for now. Gettin ready in a bit to take my sons to their first invited birthday party (at an arts an craft place), while wondering how in the world I'm gonna get them to sit still at the big table all of the kids are going to be doing crafts on, as opposed to trashin the place lol.

12. Hello OMC. Water makes for a great backyard.
Edited on Sun Dec-16-07 10:55 AM by mmonk
Water soothes me. We have a property on a lake that has been in my family since 1970. I wouldn't trade it for the world. It's my favorite place to look out over water and think and with soothing serenity.

16. Hi OMC,
That's a great picture.

Good luck with the birthday party.
;-)

Don't worry, as soon as the boys get involved with
creating something, they should be fine.

Have a good time, OK?

:D

18. Great pictures, unhappycamper!
We don't have snow ( except for our mountains) now,
but it is COLD for SoCal!

Right now, it's 37 degrees in Orange County, CA.
That's cold for us.

:-)

Fred Rogers was a great guy.
