... topped the Greatest Page earlier today with a piece that had been lifted, word-for-word, from a piece authored by Mythsaje - and took credit for having written it himself.

(I hope that those who cross-posted the piece on other websites will go back and correct the link to DU, so that the article's true author will be credited.)

I just now searched the threads for what this is about. I agree completely with the admins in their action, and am a bit disgusted that the poster plagiarized in such a way, while taking credit as well. That's the part that bothered me most: The credit to Mythsaje was not only omitted, but when posters actually raved about the thread, the poster had the gall to actually not only accept the credit, but claim that it is a product of their own mind's wandering. Such lies and deceit are utterly disgusting.

So anyway, I truly feel for mythsaje, who though I may not always 100% agree with, has always been to me one of the best and talented here. So hat's off Mythsaje, and keep on keepin on!

ideas with us here. I missed the plagiarist's theft of his writing, but I am glad s/he got offed. That kind of dishonesty has no place here, or anywhere.
