Turns out ol' Jimmy is a Harvard grad who wanted to be a prosecutor in GUILIANI's office. He didn't get hired so he went to work for Goldman Sachs.

What a fucking pedigree. Were me he, I would keep my head down and my piehole shut.

7. Right, he provided balance on the Kudlow & Cramer show.
Edited on Tue Dec-18-07 12:55 AM by Lasher
Kudlow argued loud and long that all the country needed was tax cuts for rich people, and the more the better. Cramer provided balance by always agreeing with him. It was kinda like If you were to have John McCain on a talk show about the war in Iraq, and balance it out with Joe Lieberman.

10. You are quite correct, I was not disputing that.
The point I was trying to make is, he's the type of Democrat who reminds me of Zell Miller.

11. Krramer's Been a Reporter, and He's Been Extremely Poor in His 20s
He has an interesting background. He's pretty good on explaining how to evaluate companies, even though nobody with that kind of audience can really know all the different sectors or consistently beat the market.

In the days that Giuliani was a prosecutor, he was a crusader against white collar crime, and brought down some big names on Wall Street. Very different from his persona today. When he was mayor, a lot of Democrats in New York give him credit for turning the city around. He's a much different figure now.

13. I saw some of the interview and he made a lot of sense on
some subjects. For instance saying that Canadian government and politician are more sane since they will raise taxes when need be to keep budgets balanced, unlike US where they won't even broach the subject and instead pile up massive deficits
