I just donated $100 to Chris Dodd
I'm probably still going to vote for Edwards in the CA primary, but the stand he took yesterday for the Constitution and the Rule of Law needs to be acknowledged. I think he'd make a great vice presidential candidate for any eventual nominee, and would likely tear the Repub VP candidate a new one in any debate.

At the very least, after the election is over, he should replace Harry Reid as Majority Leader of the Senate.

2. I was looking at Chris Dodd even before yesterdays events, and he...
has just made his case for being a solid pick for President IMO.

4. i have been supporting my Senator
for a while now - I admire this man more than ever. At least ONE senator from CT is a true patriot.

PLEASE support Senator Dodd with your money and your time, but most importantly with your vote.

5. Maybe if enough of us demand change - change will happen!
At the very least, after the election is over, he should replace Harry Reid as Majority Leader of the Senate.

YES! And Harry should split the taxi fee with Nancy on the way home. What HUGE disappointments they both have been.

7. That's pretty much the thrust of Glenn Greenwald's post today

A massive outpouring on the part of liberal activists, bloggers and sites like MoveOn.org to get something done to block telecom amnesty was what convinced Dodd to take the stand that he did. We showed him that he wouldn't have to stand alone, that we were standing with him. Would he have done it without the campaign of the activists? We can't know, but we sure did make it easier for him to do so.

So often the story, when it comes to the Blogosphere (mostly right, sometimes left), is about some negative story they circulated which ended up tearing down a candidate or public figure, like Dan Rather. For once, the story is about effecting positive change. And therefore, the story is nowhere to be found in the corporate media. Our candidates, though, if they're smart, will take notice.
