Go Die in Afghanistan
Look, it's Osama's first appearance in fiction! Bet he doesn't get the girl. But that's okay, I'm sure the girl doesn't quite "get" him.

Sigh, he seemed so much like one of the good guys back then.

1. Is that Gil Gerard with the laser pistol, or whatever that is?
The lady can get her hand out of his pocket too; war is not a place for that sort of kinky action. Unless she's working for the other side...

2. The length of our steely hero's neck seems anatomically bizarre

Bet that's why he wears that cloak/cape.

5. Not as creepy as that Denzel Washington - Bruce Willis movie about terrorism in NYC from the 90s
Or maybe it was Ed Harris. They both do rightwing generals so well.

Oddly enough, right wing generals are a bit of an anachronism left over from the 60s. All our best generals today fall into the George McClellan mold of being cautious bureaucrats and leave the insane militant posturing to men in navy blue pinstripe suits who had "other priorities" in the 60s.

The "Vietnam syndrome" may not be such a bad thing.
