CNN's Blitzer is all over the Meme that Dems Couldn't Stop Iraq Funding/"The WAR!"
Edited on Wed Dec-19-07 06:41 PM by KoKo01
Blitzer was having an orgasim about it along with his shill AIPAC Reporters who fell all over themselves blaming Dems for NOT STOPPING "The War," (as they called it not segmenting out that many Dems supported Afghanistan routing of the Taliban to get bin Laden...but we didn't support going after Bush Family/Saudi's, "Moriarity, Saddam Hussein.

They showed clips of Schumer saying back in '05 that the only way to bring a stop to this "war" was to elect Democrats. They then went to McConnell chastising Democrats for voting for the FULL FUNDING of "the War" that was just passed.

In general, CNN laid Iraq War on the Dems Shoulders. It's OUR FAULT ...about the WAR continuing.

And the FCC just voted to allow more of this CRAP/SHIT kind of stuff from AIPAC and the RW Think Tanks. In fact, the THINK TANKS that feed ALL OUR NEWS has MANY who CLAIM THEY ARE MAINSTREAM! Give me a BREAK!

1. They will always use "failed" and "Democrat"
in the same sentence, regardless of circumstances or facts.

THAT is why Harry needs to MAKE them do old fashioned, knock-down, drag-out filibusters. It's the only way the press will be FORCED to show America exactly what's going on....

2. Sorry, I don't usually agree with Blitzed but I do on this
None of the corporate media need to point out that the Dems have enabled BushCo to continue the occupation of Iraq. Americans know it.

3. It's really simple. If any Democrat promised an end to the war if you elect them, then they...
promised more than they could deliver and that they should be ashamed of themselves for taking people for a ride.

5. What about the ones who promised not to vote for any blank checks?
That is doable. Actually, its pretty easy to do. Just say no.

4. Dems haven't even tried to stop the war
meekly putting forth an optional milquetoast timetable clause meaning dillysquat does not constitute an attempt to stop the war.

So Blitzer is wrong and right. Dems haven't stopped the war, but he shouldn't be blaming them because they haven't even tried. Nor do they want to stop it.

Defense Industry lobbyists are the Democratic party's best buddies.

10. the 700 club woof blitzer?
pay the punk no mind...he is an enemy combatant, and he will hang one day soon (:))
...the dems might be trying to buy time by 'giving in' to bush, in order to prevent the nazipoohs from unleashing economic collapse (by revealing they've printed $20 trillion dollars, or something, or nuking Iran etc)

11. I know CNN and Blitzer are just trying to stir up shit, since they promoted the war shamelessly.
Edited on Wed Dec-19-07 07:58 PM by Mike03
It would be nice to have the accurate explanation on this, because it's hard to tell if there is some truth in it or notCould they have stopped the funding or not, legally or otherwise?

Could someone please answer this question, because it seems to be nut of the problem.

Can they or can't they?
