GOPERS: Debate emboldens the enemy / sends wrong message

According to GOPers - any discussion regarding Iraq, Iran, Syria, etc. emboldens the enemy and/or sends the wrong message.

But what about the message GOPers are sending?

Open discussion and debate on issues is part of the founding Democratic principles - it's even in the Bill of Rights... Freedom of Speech.

So by saying debate emboldens the enemy / sends the wrong message aren't GOPers saying Democracy is bad? That we shouldn't exercise our democracy out of fear, that we should just sit down and shut up?

No wonder the "enemy" doesn't want our new improved version of democracy - it's turning into a government just as repressive as the one they had.

3. Gopers groping blindly. The Republics really need to get out of

the bloatway and talk to their constituents. They would be unhappily surprised.

I just realized that bad side-effect of actually having these people work full time for a change. They can't go home, raise money, shake hands and hear from those who disagree with their pro-war stances.
