McCain Spewing Lies on CNN right now, BLAMING THE ARMY FOR OUR CURRENT MESS
Edited on Wed Jan-24-07 08:22 AM by berni_mccoy
Saying the reason Iraq is a mess is because we never had enough troops but he trusted General Petraeus and General Petraeus said we had enough troops when we went into Iraq and everyone trusted him.

He failed to mention General Shinseki's testimony that WE NEEDED NEARLY 500,000 troops to get the job done and if we didn't, Iraq would break down into chaos. THE MESS IN IRAQ WAS COMPLETELY 100% PREDICTED BY THE HEADS OF THE PENTAGON IN 2003. Those who spoke the truth were "retired" by the Bush Administration.

1. McCain will say anything if he thinks it might get him any closer
to the Oval Office. Greedy stupid f**k has been screwing the people of this country over since right after he got released from his cage and sent back home.

6. Ah Senator, who said we could fight a war on the cheap?
Oh that's right - Rummy. Remember him, SecDef, civilian member of Smirky's cabinet, out ranks all members of the armed forces?

7. Everyone who spoke the truth got canned, in favor of syncophants
who would tell * what he wanted to hear. McCain surely knows that. Does he really expect to make any friends by blaming the military?

10. I think McCain is ill
He looks and sounds ill, and he is acting crazy too - criticizing everyone around to justify his warmongering. Sad.

11. He says the generals showed a failure of leadership (paraphrase)
but he never mentions the quality of the leadership of "The Decider". Bush keeps insisting he's the CIC, so McCain should rightly criticize THAT particular failure of leadership. But of course, he never will. Hypocrite!
