I know this because first, that is when I heard something outside, I went out to look and discovered my case of Lonestar was missing from atop the porch roof where I had it chilling. I also heard gunshots moving across the landscape from NE to SW. Some down in these parts hunt only once a year, when they go out on Christmas Eve and try there luck at 'pass shooting' reindeer - Jean Thibideaux down the road a piece from me swears they are harder to hit than doves.

I called a cousin in the city and he said that he distinctly heard the sound of small bells, and a loud Ho Ho Ho from far above; however, he said that was followed by a nearby voice asking "Where where where" and almost immediately by one from the alley saying "heah heah heah suckah" So cuz isn't positive Santa crossed town at that time.

At any rate it appears ol' Sandy Claws has survived another one, barely! I'll drink to that!

He was too fat to fit into it, but he sat on it, and that was sufficient to spare his ass from being peppered by Buckshot Cheney, AKA Deadeye Dick...
