A co-worker told me that his 92-year-old mom said, "I'm not dying until after Bush leaves office!"
She announced this at the family party this week.

Now I'm all conflicted ... I want Bush out, but she's a great lady and we'll be sorry to lose her.

3. It would be a shame to miss the parties on 1/20/09.
The celebration will be worldwide. Party like it's 1999!

The very idea of bush and cheney being gone, gone, gone forever fills me with light and joy. I can not wait! It's going to be much, much better than Christmas! Like having a 16-ton weight removed from my shoulders after eight years of lugging it around.

I think we should establish an annual "Wicked Witch Is Dead" holiday after 1/20/09 that we can celebrate every year to remind us of what we've been through and to make sure that nothing like this ever happens to us again.
