If Bush had stayed in Afghanistan and finished the job,
gotten bin Laden when he had the chance rather than letting the tribal leaders to "handle it," and paid more attention to al Qaeda and the situation in Pakistan--rather than lying us into an illegal, immoral and unwinnable war in Iraq...

we wouldn't be reading the headlines we are reading today.

How many millions of people have died because of Bush? And, yet, impeachment has remained strangely off the table.

1. But I believe that your missing the point! What is now happening was...
what was supposed to happen as far as this Admin. is concerned, and if we can turn it into a Nuke war so much the better. Thats my take on it anyway...

6. I don't believe that for a second...
unlike conventional warfare, a nuclear war is bad for business.

3. I agree.
Today's events show that people do not "control" violence .... the administration was justified in responding militarily to bin Ladin, and should have focused on that goal. Instead, they attempted to justify their Iraqi agenda, and the region has become unstable on a level that does not benefit even the Cheneyites. An unstable Pakistan is one thing; a high level of violence in Pakistan is quite another thing. Certainly India and China are not going to look to Washington for leadership on this powder keg in their neighborhood.
